Opportunities To Serve
Administrative & Technical Accounting
This team may, at any given time, process deposits from weekly offerings, donations, special events and other revenue sources. They may perform receptionist duties, complete data entry projects or provide weekend help desk suppor. Technical tasks include processing database changes, training volunteers and new staff on computer processes, and researching new solutions for office and web applications. Mailroom services, photocopying, filing and bulk mailings are all responsibilities of this team as well.
Connections
Serve as a contact point for new members or attendees to ensure everyone knows they are welcome at Cross Connection. It may be a short phone contact, a lunch invitation or any small gesture to let people know that they are important to God and important to us.
White Glove Team
Do you watch every episode of "Clean Sweep"? Then this is the job for you. Make sure everything is in "tip-top" shape before each service or event. This includes pre-and-post service cleaning, floor care and decorating projects for holidays and special events. Facilities maintenance such as HVAC, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry or construction. The Grounds Care Team keeps our ground looking great by planting seasonal flowers/shrubs, irrigation and general landscape.
Care and Prayer
Hospital Visitation - Join a team of others from C3 to visit people during hospital stays. Relieve a family member, deliver a cup of coffe...whatever it takes to help out. Prayer Team Member - Join a team of individuals that is in continuous prayer for the health and vitality of the church. This group also offers prayer to weekend service attendees. Meals For Moms - This is a great team that provides hot meals for new mothers at C3.
Children's Ministry, Nursery and Pre-School
Are you a kid at heart and do you desire to teach children about the heart of God? Then working with our childrens ministry is just the ticket for you. God's Garage is for children 6-12. The children enjoy games, music, activities and bible teaching in a very unique and exciting environment. Sprouts is our nursery and pre-school ministry where we serve the youngest of the C3 family.
Hospitality
You know what they say about "first impressions"... We believe in creating an inviting, accepting and safe environment for anyone who walks through our doors. Below are many ways for you to serve at C3. Connection Cafe, Message Duplication, Traffic and Parking, Ushers and Greeters, Bulletin Assembly & Medical Response
Media
For the "creative types" we have many opportunities to serve including running lighting, video and sound systems, creating PowerPoint text for worship services, producing compelling media and computer animations, and providing special event photography and video.
Performing Arts
You don't have to have a recording contract or movie deal to serve here. Most all of our performing arts and music team are volunteers just like you. Vocalists sing solos, praise and worship backup or for special events. Instrumentalists typically include drums, bass guitar, electric guitar, keyboard, and saxophone, but just about any instrument, played well, could find a place on our stage. Drama includes directing, script writing, costuming, props, and staging.
Youth Ministry
Are you a "grown-up" who relates to the pressures and challenges facing young people today? What them to know how much they matter to God...no matter what? Then our youth ministry is for you!
